Welcome to High Quality Healthcare

If you're looking for acupuncture in Toronto or Googling "acupuncture near me", you've found a practice that blends tradition, precision, and deep care, located conveniently at Christie and Bloor. I practice Classical Chinese Acupuncture, Zen Shiatsu and Food medicine to help you heal and integrate life’s challenges, so you can feel better, be healthier and have support for being alive. Whether you navigate chronic pain, grief, anxiety, burnout, mystery symptoms, or major transitions this care is highly personalized, effective treatment rooted in thousands of years of wisdom.

You deserve healthcare that honours your full humanity—
your body, your grief, your joy, your lineage.

Each session includes diagnostic tools like pulse and tongue reading. I will ask questions, explain what is happening and share what I am seeing. My treatments are informed by decades of experience and guided by the rhythm of your body’s healing. I am your health detective, acupuncturist and advocate.

Most People Start with Acupuncture

Acupuncture is often the first step.
It offers relief, clarity, and support - physically and emotionally. Qi flow is a felt experience. Practitioners feel Qi when we place our fingertips on your pulse, and clients often feel Qi during their treatment as sensations of buzzing, warmth, a coming and going “something”, itching, tingling or clearing of pain, congestion or fatigue.

We may draw on other modalities depending on your needs:

  • Shiatsu & acupressure for nervous system support

  • Food therapy to reconnect with nourishment

  • Cupping & gua sha for pain, stagnation, or tension

  • Breathwork & life advocacy to help process grief or big life shifts

Each session is personalized. I’ll offer what I believe will support you best, and we’ll collaborate on your care—centering your wisdom, well-being, and healing every step of the way.

My Approach

I integrate multiple healing modalities to offer whole-person care:

Holistic Nutrition & Food Energetics

  • I help clients use food as medicine based on Chinese Nutrition energetics of food. We focus on adding nourishing foods rather than removing favourites, cultural food traditions to the front! We address concerns like fatigue, digestion, immunity, emotional health and body pain.

Life Advocacy; a generative conversation

  • Virtual consults worldwide offer intuitive insight, TCM principles, and nervous system supportfor grief, identity changes, chronic illness, and life transitions. Life advocacy can now be booked separately, including suggestions for food, movement, or meditation. Curious? Email me with questions.

FREE or by donation - Resources + Food Medicine Group

  • I host a free seasonal food medicine group twice a year, in the Spring and Fall focusing on TCM and food energetics. We explore nourishment, seasonal alignment, and collective practice, emphasizing sovereignty, self-trust, and ancestral wisdom. Accessible health from the inside out.

Extraordinary Vessel Acupuncture

  • I work with Classical meridians and Extraordinary Vessels—energetic channels that help us heal deep trauma, life transitions, and support transformation beyond symptom relief.

Zen Shiatsu & Acupressure

  • Grounded in Zen Shiatsu, a meditation in motion, these sessions support regulation, Ki (Qi) flow, and relief from stress and pain. Ideal for when words are too much—or not enough.

Cupping & moxabustion

  • I use traditional cupping to support circulation, release tension, and strengthen immune response. Moxa (mugwort herb) is burned near the skin to warm meridians and boost vitality.

A bit about me

I descend from British ancestry on my mother's side and Turkish on my father's. I spent my early years in a small village near London, I am a small village person with a community centric approach. Amongst great regard for life many of my relatives died at home from cancer and I learned a lot about bedside care, presence, and love through those experiences.

I'm also in recovery from alcohol, cigarettes and more. I know what it means to struggle and heal, and I offer care that is rigorous, trauma-informed, and deeply kind.

You are welcome here.

For over 10 years I was an owner of Six Degrees Community Acupuncture, a sliding scale based community acupuncture and health care centre, the first in Canada.

I love taking pictures of the moon. I find it’s power mesmerizing, hopeful and full of love. A while ago I experienced a 3 year period where I would look at the moon and feel nothing, I was tremendously burnt out, depressed and ill. The healing I have done to come back from that place is a tremendous resource for me and my practice. I know from the depths of emptiness that we can return to life, and that a multimodality approach is required.

When I looked at the moon and could feel the beauty of life again, hope returned. I felt tender, teary and incredibly thankful. That night I knew I could recover, and restore, my body and soul.

Taking care of health is a collective commitment carried by individuals. I’m honoured to accompany you.

I offer skill, dignity, and high-quality care.
