Grief Support

Holding Space for What Hurts

You don't have to carry it alone

Grief takes many forms: death, loss of health, endings, disillusionment, rupture. It's not just something to get through—grief is an invitation to stay connected, even when what we love is no longer here in the same way.

In my work, grief is not pathologized or rushed. It is welcomed, honoured, and held with skill and care.

You are allowed to feel how you feel. You are allowed to take your time. You are allowed to receive support.

Ways to Work Together

💻 1:1 Grief Integration Sessions

These virtual sessions offer a space to be fully met in your grief—no fixing, no rushing. We bring the body into the conversation using guided inquiry, breath, and energetic awareness. Sessions often include somatic support, food medicine guidance, and East Asian frameworks for navigating loss and transition.

🎓 Courses & Workshops

Join Keeping Company With Grief (self-paced) or attend a live workshop. These offerings combine ritual, Traditional Chinese Medicine, community practices, and trauma-informed care to explore how grief lives in the body—and how it moves.

🌀 Acupuncture

For acute, chronic, or complicated grief, acupuncture can support integration by regulating the nervous system, grounding scattered energy, and gently moving stuck emotions. Treatments may include working with the Lung and Large Intestine channels, the Extraordinary Vessels, or points for shock and heartbreak. This is subtle but potent work, offering relief and spaciousness when words aren’t enough.

Grief Groups

Seasonal 8-week programs (online or hybrid) that bring people together in collective care. Includes:

  • Qi movement & somatic practice

  • Time for sharing, witnessing, rest

  • Teachings on grief, nervous system, and East Asian frameworks

Why Work With Me?

I’ve sat at many bedsides. I’ve held the hands of loved ones through death, through life’s unraveling, through unspeakable change.

I bring over 20 years of experience in East Asian Medicine, Zen shiatsu, somatic work, and radical care. I am trained in grief tending, trauma response, and holding space across difference.

I don’t believe in fixing grief. I believe in staying with what’s real.

Rooted in East Asian Medicine

Grief in Chinese Medicine relates to the Lung and Metal element: the season of autumn, the breath, letting go. But grief touches every organ system.

We use the breath, movement, touch, food, and rest to tend to your whole being—not just your thoughts, but your bones, your breath, your heart.

You Are Welcome Here

All grief is valid. Whether your loss is fresh or decades old, whether it is visible or unnamed, you are not alone.

This work is queer-affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and centered in sovereignty.
