Capacity for that which we can no longer bear

We humans are a phenomenal animal, wired to weather storms, survive and thrive! We all have a capacity that can be breached, or be grown, with every occurrence of BIG feelings.

As we officially move into summer, the Fire element and Organ Heart Protector, is being called to the front. The Heart Protector role is, you guessed it, to protect the Heart! This is a physical, energetic and emotional protection. The Heart houses the emotions and when the Heart overflows the Heart Protector bears that which we can no longer bear. When the Heart protector gets full, it spills over into our reservoir of Qi, the Dai Mai Extraordinary vessel (more on that in another post).

So what can you do when you feel overwhelmed?

Move Qi in the Heart Protector channel to restore emotional capacity

Applying Traditional East Asian Medicine principles to your daily life can be so simple! Promoting Qi flow with breath and movement gives you a big boost AND moves Qi all over your being. Connecting specifically with the Heart Protector channel nourishes the organ directly to protect the Heart and continue to bear the load of BIG feels.

Qi flow in the Heart Protector = wellness and calm capacity for feeling

Let's practice together ...
